Hello to you classmates, professors, friends, family members, and strangers welcome to my blog. My name is Manuel Antonio Medina, but you can call me Manny. I am 19 years old and I was born and raised in America's Finest City our beautiful San Diego. This is my third semester at Southwestern College, I am a Hospitality Major. I plan to get B.S. in Hospitality:Culinary Arts Management and also receive a degree or certification in Culinary Arts and hope to one day own a restaurant. I enjoy reading books, books are my escape, they're company in solitary times, theyre entertainment when i am bored, I love how one can get lost in a book and lose track of time,and everything around us, how one can get enveloped in a story and feel like one is there, how we can feel a characters pain and share their happiness. The tilte of my blog "...and may the odds be ever in your favor" is a quote from one of my favorite books The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, it is an easy read but very good it is the first book to The Hunger Games series the other two books are called Catching Fire, and Mockingjay I encourage everyone to pick them up you wont be dissapointed.
